Head shot of a male Muslin moth showing the orange and black face and feathered antennae

Muslin Moth. Photo: Mark Pike

When you first see a male Muslin moth, with its mushroom brown wings and grey head, you would never expect to see such a bright orange face under the feathered antennae.

Mark likes to photograph the moths he catches in his Motcombe trap, and show us more detail when possible.

This one was caught on 27/04/20 and posed beautifully.
