Brian says he sees these Yellow Shell moths regularly while doing his transect walk at Durlston. He saw this one on 13/06/22 and realised it was a moth and not a Small skipper or Small Heath butterfly as he first thought. They are daytime flying moths but usually settle in inacesssible places for photos unlike the aforementioned butterflies so Brian was lucky to get this great image.
