A striking moth, a Waved Umber trapped at Motcombe by Mark on 10/04/20.

One generation  Mid April-June and very occasionally a second partial generation in July and August in hot summers.

It can sometimes can be found in daytime resting on tree trunks or fences. So, eyes peeled when out walking👀
