Donald sent in this photo of a butterfly his wife spotted in their Bournemouth garden today, 25/02/2022 – their first butterfly of the year. He told us that from indoors they thought it might be a Comma but on getting up close saw it was a Small Tortoiseshell which they hardly ever get in their garden.
