If you are a member of Dorset Branch, your newsletter and events list should be plopping through your letterbox very soon. Three noble souls spent the aftenoon before the Bank Holiday stuffing nearly 900 envelopes, and the HQ staff very kindly stayed on to ensure they went out in that day’s post. Continue reading
We are delighted to welcome Guy Freeman as our new Newsletter Editor. Guy is doing a degree in ecology with Exeter University, and has helped the Branch in the past, undertaking what Bill Shreeves described as a “brilliant survey on Silver Studded Blues – finding colonies which had been ‘lost’ for years”.
The picture below is of Guy – who will be at the start of the newsletter production – and Peggy Taylor, who is at the end of it: she is the vital person who puts the newsletters in the envelopes and posts them out.
Guy’s arrival means we should be able to get the Events list out to everybody, but it will take a little longer for Guy to achieve the actual newsletter.
