Two photos from Ann sent in telling us:

I had a walk at Badbury Rings this afternoon, 09/05/2023  and instead of the predicted rain showers, there was lovely sunshine and I was very happy to see loads of Brimstones, my first Green Hairstreaks, a Peacock, Dingy and Grizzled Skippers, and several Silver Y moths.

To celebrate her release from some of the restrictions of lockdown, Lynda went to Badbury Rings on 12/05/2020 and has sent us these photos with the following comments:

After being  unable to drive for a walk until recently it was great to see so many butterflies at Badbury Rings on my visit.  I counted 75, without trying very hard, of 15 species. I rarely see Grizzled Skippers but to see a group of three either in a territorial battle or courting, I know not which, was lovely.  Saw my first Green Hairstreak of the year too, up close and personal.
