Garry sent in these two photos of Speckled Wood butterflies he saw yesterday, 01/09/2026 in the woods at Knoll Beach commenting how pleasing it is to see butterflies as we move into Autumn.  He also told us that there were many others fluttering around and that the sight of a Hummingbird Hawk-moth on the beach there was a real surprise.
