Derek sent in these two photos of Clouded Yellows he saw yesterday, 01/09/2026 on Charminster Down telling us:

I could scarcely believe how many of these butterflies I was seeing, and I did, almost, stick to the bridleway!  There must have been many more away from it – almost all were males, with one obvious exception!
