Two photos from Jane sent in with the following comments:

In the afternoon of 24/08/2026 the warmth brought out more butterflies in our Chalmington Garden than I had seen for a while.  There were many whites, which doesn’t bode well for my recovering Kale, but I did like this photo of a Large White showing the wing markings so beautifully.  A little later I was entertained by this Clouded Yellow sharing a Zinnia flower with a fly … only for the fly to hop onto the butterfly’s wing.  The butterfly didn’t seem in the slightest bit bothered!
