I was on my regular transect at Wimborne St. Giles yesterday, 02/08/2026 when I spotted this delightful Clouded Yellow f. helice nectaring on wild thyme. It hung around there for an hour at least. I think I’ve seen more of these lovely insects this year than ever before. Must be the warm southerly wind that brought them here.
