Mark sent us these two Tiger moths on 12//07/26, Jersey and Ruby tigers from his Motcombe trap.

The Jersey Tiger is a large striking moth which sometimes comes to light in big numbers these days , but can be seen flying or resting by day.

The Ruby Tiger is a small thick set moth and always appears so different from other tiger moths which makes Mark wonder why it is named a tiger.
