Mark sent us these photos of a Box Tree moth and a Lappet from his Motcombe trap on 7/06/26,

The Box Tree moth, a migrant moth, may look beautiful but it’s caterpillars  can demolish a box tree hedge in next to no time.

The Lappet has marvellous wings resembling an autumn leaf and is undetectable when resting among leaf litter.
