Two photos from Mark sent in telling us:

A couple of shots of the many Silver-studded Blues on the wing today, 13/06/2026 at Higher Hyde Heath. I have never seen a female of this species look quite like the one in the pair seen here, what a superb colour! When you consider that most females are basically a dull brown, this one was exceptional. I don’t think it is an aberration, at least not a known one.
