Two photos from Shona sent in telling us:

Today, 30/04/2026 I went to Giant Hill – my first Duke of Burgundy this year was actually a Duchess! A while later, I saw a male in the same area. Then he saw the female and they mated, remaining coupled for 32 minutes. The male then flew away, leaving the female as seen in the second photo.
