After the winter management work of Nigel Spring and our team on Cerne Giant was pleased to see the fruits of our labour this morning.
The team worked hard over the winter to create suitable habitats for the Duke. You can see how small it is when you realise it is on a cowslip flower; cowslips and primroses are the main foods of the Duke’s caterpillars. More information on this rare butterfly can be found on our Species page.
