Today, 26/11/2024 there have been 3 Red Admirals settling and nectaring on the Colletia Hystrix in our Harman’s Cross garden. One of them flew across to some adjacent holly and landed by some red berries. I have long hoped to get a photo of a Red Admiral on holly with berries but of course it is not a plant for them to nectar on. Some snow in the picture would make it perfect, but I think that is somewhat unlikely!!
