This Meadow Brown resting on bamboo leaves in our garden at Harman’s Cross today, 09/10/2024 must be right at the end of their flight season. I have seen it in the garden whenever the sun has shone during the last few days. Other butterflies in the garden today were Speckled Wood and Red Admiral, and we expect to see them for several more weeks yet, as long as the temperature does not drop too much.
