The sun came out briefly here in Harman’s Cross today, 08/11/2022 in between the heavy showers and high winds.

Two Red Admirals appeared in the sunshine to brighten up our day and one of them took a liking to my hand. I hope it does not want to hibernate there – not sure I could stand still until the Winter is over!

I took it over to some holly with berries hoping I could transfer it to the holly for a Christmas Card photo but it didn’t want to know – as soon as I got to the holly off it flew.
