A remarkable day for Mike who sent in these photos telling us:

I had a great day at Garston Wood, on 23/07/2021.  19 butterfly species seen, including White Admirals and a Purple Emperor (the first I’ve seen there). There were lots of Peacocks and Silver-washed Fritillaries (2 +valezinas). I had a Comma and a Red Admiral land on me!
