Scarlet Tigers, Winfrith Newburgh

Seen in her Winfrith Newburgh garden on 12/07/21 Lyn tells us:

I’d seen a Scarlet Tiger moth flying around for a couple of days, so when I saw this flash of colour in a shady area I didn’t take much notice of it, but something made me look again, to see it was a mating pair. The eggs hatch in about seven days, so I’m now on the lookout for their very striking caterpillars.
