Shona sent in these two photos telling us:

I saw these male and female Common Blues on the south side of Hod Hill yesterday, 22/10/2020.  He’s a bit nibbled, but otherwise they both look fairly fresh, so I think they must be third brood. I also saw a Speckled Wood, and had Red Admiral and Clouded Yellow flypasts, not bad for the time of year!
