Mark sent us these two photos taken on his recent transect walk (week commencing 27/07/2020) and told us:

Both butterflies were with a metre of each other and were almost identical. A female Common Blue and a Brown Argus. In flight the Brown Argus looks silvery whereas the Common Blue does look ever so slightly blue, despite being mostly brown.
