Mark found these two moths in his Motcombe trap on 14/06/20.

The Bee Moth is a micro moth, single brooded May -mid September.Foodplant: Nests of bumblebees preferably above ground where the larvae feed on old cells and debris as well as the brood itself.

The Cypress Carpet ,though as Mark says is rather dull, is in fact not common and only found in the south, first recorded in 1984.
