Another fortuitous walk for Brian yesterday, 06/05/2020 when he walked from his home along the base of Ailwood Down and Rollington Hill from Ailwood Farm to Corfe Castle. He told us that there were a lot of butterflies along the sheltered path at the base of the hills including the ones shown in these photos he sent us. He counted a total of 11 species including 15 Green Hairstreak, 8 Holly Blue, 6 Dingy Skipper plus Wall, Orange Tip, Small Copper, Speckled Wood, Red Admiral, Large White, Comma and Small White.
