Are we suggesting you only come to our AGM for the cakes? No, but they are always very good and we there is going to be a special one celebrating the 30th birthday of the Branch! The business part of the meeting is kept short, though it can be surprisingly interesting, then it’s cakes and natter – sorry, networking with like-minded people – followed by a talk. This year we have Dr. Dan Hoare, Head of Regions for national Butterfly Conservation describing “Five steps to save a species”. Dan has been involved in many conservation projects, so there is lots of experience behind the talk. There is also a raffle (for which we would be delighted to receive prizes).

This all takes place on Saturday 24 February at Puddletown Hall, starting at 2.00pm. See our Events page for full details.
