Photographed on the 10/06/2015 at Corfe Castle, in this image you can clearly see the defining feature of this species; the light, fan shaped or ‘crescent’ markings on the forewings of this female. The male can have have the same but less obvious markings but these are usually completely absent. See Lulworth Skipper for more identification details.
