Always a great day out. We will be representing Butterfly Conservation with our Display Stall and look forward to meeting you here.


19th June - Dawn to Dusk at Durlston
Come and visit us at our Display Stall and Moth Opening.
Durlston Country Park in Swanage will be holding a free family festival, celebrating the unique qualities of this very special place – a 280 acre cliff-top paradise, with a wealth of wildlife habitats, set in a stunning coastal landscape.
The day will feature a range of activities and entertainment with an environmental theme, running from early morning till dusk and will be widely promoted throughout Dorset. Events will include live music, drama, competitions, guided walks, crafts, slide-shows and children’s activities, and builds on last year’s successful Castle Project Launch, which attracted over 1,500 visitors. (And our Display Stall and moth trap)

2/3 July - Upton Country Park Summer Show
The Display Stall will be there on both The ‘Friends of Upton Country Park’ is a registered charity which raises funds for Upton Country Park and Upton House. This year funds from the Show will be used for a major new project, the redevelopment of The Walled Garden.
The Summer Show is planned to include the following: A Craft Show in Upton House, Arena displays, Trade Stands and Displays, Charity, produce, Craft Stalls, Sideshows, Fun Castle, Childrens’ rides, Static displays, demonstration of Crafts and other entertainment. Part of the Summer Show will be dedicated to the Local Community, Environment, Rural Crafts and the Countryside.

30/31st July - Spirit of the Countryside, Lulworth Castle
We will be representing Butterfly Conservation at this.
This Fair celebrates the environment and pays homage to life in the country by those who are passionate about living, working, playing in and supporting this way of life. Expressed through demonstrations, ‘have-a-go’ activities, crafts, sports and a myriad of fun, entertainments, the event aims to inform, educate and entertain on all aspects of country life.
