Big Plant Sale in aid of Butterfly Conservation

Butterfly Conservation’s Dorset Branch will be holding a plant sale at Cobblers Cottage in Winfrith Newburgh on Saturday 31st May 2008.

Admission is free, and there will be over 500 plants on sale, as well as teas and butterfly goods; you are also welcome to look round the garden of the seventeenth century cottage. Other gardens in the village will also be open as part of the Village Gardens Open Days (for which there is a charge).

Donations of plants or cakes are welcome, and if anybody could print off the poster announcing the event and put it up locally, that would be very helpful.

Further information from Lyn Pullen,  01305 853946 or cobblerscottage@yahoo.co.uk.

Directions: Winfrith Newburgh is off the A352 Wareham to Dorchester road. Coming from Wareham, turn left by the Red Lion pub and keep going for another half a mile. Cobblers Cottage (DT2 8JW) is the first of a row of thatched cottages opposite Pigeon Close.
