Save Rampisham Down

The Dorset Wildlife Trust urgently needs your help before the 6th of February to get Eric Pickles to stop a damaging development on a nationally protected wildlife site in Dorset.

Act Now to Save Rampisham Down

In January 2015 West Dorset Council’s planning committee voted in favour of an application by British Solar Renewables to build a large solar farm on Rampisham Down, a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The site is one of the largest areas of lowland acid grassland remaining in England. Solar energy is good, but in the right place, but Rampisham Down is NOT the right place.

If you can spare just a few seconds to help before Friday 6th February, there might be a chance we can save this natural treasure!  Click the Act Now button to go to the DWT website to help.
